Sunday, March 16, 2008 -

We went to the US Army Reserve 395th Ordinance Company center on Ballard Road in Appleton, WI, to see our neighbor Dan Fritsch off for a tour in Afghanistan.

Some of the pictures are a little blurry. We were in the opposite corner of the room from the formation, and the light was a little dim. We ran into Jake and Brenda Hendricks, who were seeing their son off as well.

The soldiers will get additional training at Fort Bragg, NC between now and their actual deployment to Afghanistan.

In addition to the stills, I shot a video inside. It's a little jerky, since it's almost impossible to hold that little bastard camera that still, but at least I got some good low-light footage.
